Leave the site turn right, turn right again B4213, right on the A38, 2nd roundabout take 1st exit still on A38 turn right onto the A430, at roundabout take 1st exit onto the M5 to junction 7 exit A44, at the 3rd roundabout take 2nd exit, still A44 turn right arriving Worcester. Park on the embankment near to the Cathedral for a small fee.
Worcester city as the river Severn running through the middle and is overlooked by the 12th century Cathedral. Take a browse around the city explore the many Tudor buildings with jetted upper storeys. Vistit the Royal Worcester porcelain factory now a museum, the Worcester City Gallery and Museum where there is a collection of gloves that were made locally. Take a look at the Cathedral and study the fine architecture, stone columns and sculptures and stroll the river bank and see it majestically above the river Severn. Cross over the bridge walk the east side bank and enjoy the scenery. Before leaving take the 45 minute river cruise which is a great experience.
Upton upon Severn
Continue journey onto Upon on Severn go north on the A38 turn right on the B4104 over the bridge arriving at Upton. Park at waterside.
This is a picturesque village with more inns than shops, a 16th century coaching inn, and The Pepperpot with its distinctive copper-clad tower, the remains of a old church. Just sit at the waterside having a nice cuppa and enjoy the views of the moored and passing boats on the river Severn flowing under the bridge.
Continue onto Ledbury, south on A4104, turn left on A449 arriving on the high street and park where you can.
Ledbury is in Herefordshire, a market town with many timbered structures found in the high street and on church lane. Most outstanding features are the Market House built in 1617 and the Parish church. Stroll around just observe the magnificent buildings.
