Road trip from the site 9 miles to Pershore head north A38 at roundabout 3rd exit A440 then 2nd roundabout 3rd exit then next 2nd exit B4084 continue onto A4104 then B4084 turn left b4536 into Pershore lot to see park for few hours.
A unspoilt picturesque market town in Worcestershire on the river Avon, a place of major architectural importance, listed as an outstanding conservation area with many listed Georgian buildings on Bridge Street and Broad Street.
Stroll the town and discover its elegant Georgian architecture and view parts of 11th century Abbey with stained glass windows and memorials. Just a short walk is the Abbey gardens, seek out the carved tree stump. Move on to Bridge Street and get to the monastic bridge over the river Severn, such a stunning site. Whilst there visit the riverside gardens relax and watch the river traffic of boats and barges, finish with a stroll down the river bank to see its full glory where many festivals are held throughout the year. Whilst travelling in the Vale of Evesham soak up the beautiful countryside.
Continue road trip 6 miles northwest to Evesham take B4536 then B4084 follow till left turn A4184 arrive in Evesham again a lot to do, park for a few hours to get the benefit of the town
A medieval market town dating back to 1055 with a vibrant town centre with its many historical preserved buildings. Take a stroll and browse some of the interesting places, the Tower Bell, 15th century Round house, Abbot Reginald’s Gateway, the old town, Almonry Museum from the 14th century housing many exhibitions. Stroll along the river Avon and enjoy the view of the lime trees. Visit the Abbey Park and grounds with its water canal, terraced gardens, ornamental lily pool, all in a most beautiful setting. You can also take a boat trip from the quayside.
