Resume road trip onto Santa Clarita travelling 82 miles take the Route 99 south for 25 miles merge with Interstate 5 south for 53 miles exit 168 for 4miles.
Situated in the Santa Clarita Valley located in Los Angeles County, a large modern upmarket city. Points of interest are the Six Flags Magic Mountain Park is located off Interstate 5 a theme park set in a 260 acres having 17 Roller Coasters having the most any Theme Park as in the world, with many other attractions. Next to the theme park is located a 15 acre Water Park named the Six Flags Hurricane Harbour set amidst the fringes of a Topical Jungle.
Continue road trip to Bonelli Park, travel for 55 miles turn right onto Route 14 south for 5 miles exit towards Interstate south for 2 miles, exit 16a merge Interstate 210 east for 44miles exit 45 Route 57 for 4 miles exit 15 and travel 2 miles.
Bonelli Regional Park
The park is set in a 250 acre Lake called Puddingstone Reservoir used for water sports with private picnic areas and a RV camp site, nice to drive round to view and explore.

Take a stroll around the shopping areas discover the specialist western gear shops. Points of interest are the Pacific Railway Museum on Bonita Avenue plus the Raging Waters being the largest water park in Southern California having many attractions located on the 57 freeway.
Continue on to Mount Baldy for 17 miles turn right Route 210 east for 7 miles exit 52 then follow the local signs towards Mount Baldy for the last 10 miles.
The highest peak in the Gabriel Range, drive up the mountain and enjoy the winding roads viewing its beauty of trees, forest and mountain wildflowers looking down into the valleys whist passing rustic cabins. The higher you go the narrower the road, pull into the visitor centre and explore the attractions, meet the very friendly locals with a story to tell. On the return trip down the mountain the views are even more stunning. Stop off at Restaurant Bar at the side of the road, a most interesting little eatery.
Continue to drive onto Riverside, travel off the mountain and cover 9 miles. Turn left on Route 210 east for 9 miles and take exit 64a to merge onto Interstate 15 south for 9 miles. Exit on 106 and turn right onto Route 60 east for 12 miles, exit 53a onto Route 91 east for 3 miles, exit 62 then run the last mile towards Riverside, parking on the road side and walk around this Charming city.
Riverside situated on the side of the Santa Ana River in Riverside County founded in the early 1870s and the birth place of the Citrus industry. Riverside is home to the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa, a must visit, being of Moorish Revival Architecture. Search for the Mission Bell and the Spanish Wing Clock and the Sky Bridge. So much to see, stroll the downtown marketplace district also view the river side on the river Santa Ana which flows at the base of the Mount Rubidouk,a hill within the city, having the World Peace Bridge. Other points of interest Citrus lined paseo on Victoria Avenue and the Citrus State Historical Park Visitors Centre having many attractions and exhibits.
Resume trip to March air museum travel 8 miles take the Interstate 215 south for 2 miles exit 25 pull into the March Field Air, Museum car park view the air force stock and visit the museum.
Last part of the journey, drive to Palm Springs covering 52 miles then book into the Comfort Inn staying 1 night. Turn right onto Interstate 215 north for 4 miles, exit at 29 and merge with Route 64. Go east for 18 miles, merge with Interstate 10 east for 18 miles onto Route 111, follow signs for 12 miles Motel in the downtown.
