Resume trip for 25 miles to Morro Bay on the Highway 101 north covering 12 miles. Turn right onto Coastal Road 1, travel north for 12 miles and exit 278 traveling the last mile into Morro Bay.

Continue on to San Jose traveling 186 miles north, turn right onto Highway 41 north for 18 miles and take Highway 101 north and travel 154 miles onto the Highway 85 north for 7 miles take the exit for Highway 87 north, 7 miles into San Jose.

Resume road trip towards San Francisco Bay travel 48 miles north on Highway 87 for 3 miles exit 9b onto Highway 101 north for 45 miles into the Bay and park at the Old Fisherman’s Wharf and explore the wharf and downtown areas a good walk but worth it.
