Hollywood is located in the northwestern part of Los Angeles, known as the historical centre of the movie industry owing to its fame and cultural identity. The modern Hollywood is getting a little run down, shame as a lot of money has been generated there but seemingly not much put back.

Park and explore at the many wonders of Vine Street and Hollywood Boulevard walk the area view the 1956 Capital Records Building which looks like a stack of 7 inch vinyl records. Moving onto the Boulevard walk just over a mile discovering the famous mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers and theatrical groups plus fictional characters, on the side walk placed in an over 2400 brass pointed five stars bearing their names.

Visit the points of interest on Hollywood Boulevard 1922 The Graumans Chinese Manns Theatres, Dolby Theatre formally the Kodak located in the Hollywood and Highland Shopping Centre Mall Entertainment Complex. Also the 1926 El Captain, 1928 Pacific, 1930 Pantages, 1922 Egyptian Theatres plus Madame Tussards and Ripley’s Believe it or not Odditorium.

Resume the trip on Highway 101 south, exit 3b and merge with Highway 110 and exit 24. Through the different cultural parts of downtown LA discover the Chinese and other national ghettos whist heading for Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum with Venture located in Simi Valley. Travel 46 miles Highway 101 north 11 miles onto highway 170 for 6 miles exit 11b onto interstate 5 north for 3 miles exit 156a onto Highway 118 west 27 miles.

Ronald Reagan Museum located in the Simi Valley visit the many exhibits and scenery covering the President Reagan’s life, view and board the Air Force One Boeing 707 and explore the displays of the support and security vehicles. Other points of interest in the library grounds are the Reagan’s Tomb and Memorial Site plus a piece of the Berlin Wall.
