Located in the West South Central region of America, the 48th State joined the union in 1907 nickname Sooner State. Oklahoma lies in the Great Plains with small mountain ranges, prairie, mesas and eastern forest. The Quachita Mountain covers most of the south-eastern area and the prairie is inhibited by the American Bison. The State are produces natural gas and agriculture.
