Twinwood Arena is situated within what used to be RAF Twinwood Farm, retaining many of the huts and the tower which houses the Glenn Miller museum with WW2 displays. This can be visited any time. But in the August bank holiday there’s the 3 day event known as the no.1 Vintage Music and Dance Festival, believe me it is. All types of venues, a huge arena with a sprung dance floor, to experience the beat of the dancers in tune with the orchestra is just out of this world. There’s 4 music bars, 8 indoor venues, many museums, classic vehicles, Air displays over a 100 traders in 1940s gear and memorabilia. With over 60 bands, on 10 stages, with a little comedy thrown in.
