Leave the hotel and travel on local transport towards Bugibba a resort in St Paul’s Bay having fantastic sea views overlooking the mass of small boats. The popular seafront and the main square are located off and along the promenade with more modern designed dwellings. There are numerous hotels, restaurants, pubs and casinos with the square being a pleasant area just to relax and sit outside with drinks at one of the restaurants.
Travel next to Mellieha, again a village and resort set in the bay having a mix of old and new buildings, many used as holiday hotels. The bay is a fabulous setting, the blue lagoon and sandy beaches. Discover the medieval dwellings on the beach area and the town having its own special church.
Cirkenwa the next point of interest is a ferry terminal with no other Infrastructure at all having regular ferry crossings to Gazo, and as with Marfa Point they are very good as viewing areas for the Mediterranean but not much else.
